Dante Sorrentino

  • College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Chair
Dante is a fourth-year student in the Applied Mathematics PhD program at Iowa State. Researching stochastic differential equations (SDE) and stochastic partial differential equations (SPDE), his work is at the interface of probability theory, functional analysis, and mathematical physics.

As the College Chair for Liberal Arts and Sciences, Dante seeks to expand communication and visibility between the graduate student body and ISU administration. By ameliorating this fundamental relationship, he and GPSS will work to improve the graduate student experience, and by consequence, the university at large.
