Paul Kimumwe is a 4th-year PhD Student in the Rhetoric and Professional Communication (RPC) and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the English Department. He is a recipient of the Department’s Freda Huncke Scholarship (2022/23). Paul has over 20 years of combined experience in journalism, media development, technology and digital rights advocacy in Africa. At ISU, Paul has taught multiple sections of ENGL 1500, 2500, and ENGL 2120. Paul’s research interests include UD and Multimodality in Visual Communication, Usability and UX in TPC, Rhetoric of Technology and Disability, and Media Studies.
