Senate Information Officer: Kate Alucard
Kate Alucard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona and a Master of Public Health from the University of Iowa. She is currently a DVM candidate at Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She is interested in pursuing a specialty residency within veterinary medicine post-graduation in Anatomic Pathology, and her research focuses on community outreach and diagnostic methodology. Kate initially served as the Iowa State University Student Government CVM Senator which ultimately became an at-large position within GPSS during Spring 2020, and is now excited to serve as the Senate Information Officer of GPSS for both 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. She also serves as the President for Pride Student VMC for the 2021-2022 year and is the Veterinary Public Health Student Liaison within the American Public Health Association.
