Why attend the Conference?
The 2024 GPSS Conference continues to cultivate our graduate community across all the Colleges and departments at Iowa State. This includes a focus on graduate student organizations, socializing across the Colleges to build community, and maintain (or restore) our wellbeing. We want to show the value of ISU graduate programs and offer a vision for re-imagining the future of the graduate community here at ISU.
Ultimately, we want to ask, how can we use current and pressing challenges as opportunities to reinvent our graduate community to better support each other’s research and graduate way of life? We hope you can help cultivate an answer to this question with us! We would like your RSVP with this Registration Survey by Feb. 9..
There are many reasons to attend the conference:
- Attend oral presentations, posters, exhibitions and lightning talk competitions
- Present your work in front of a new audience and receive feedback from judges and audience members with our “text your feedback” option
- Attend graduate student oriented workshops provided
- Receive a professional photograph of your self
- Have FREE breakfast, lunch, and/or social hour event
- Win Award $$$ and recognition for your work
- Attend the Keynote-Panel
- Members of the public, including friends and family are invited to attend (Register HERE)
