Zarina is a doctoral student in Educational Technology and Science Education with a strong passion for teaching and learning. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kenya and completed her master’s in Elementary Education at the University of Georgia. Her experiences span both elementary and higher education, where she thrives in creating learning environments that inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. She hopes to influence others to advocate with clarity, experiment boldly, and support equitable, lifelong learning for all. Outside of academia, she enjoys traveling, theater, and reading—activities that remind her of the beauty in the tapestry of humanity and the richness of human stories, cultures, and perspectives.
