Why to attend GPSC

The 2023 GPSS Conference continues to cultivate our graduate community across all the Colleges and departments here in Ames. This includes a focus on interdisciplinary research, graduate student organizations, and socializing across the Colleges to build community for our mental wellbeing. We want to show the value of ISU graduate programs and offer a potential vision for re-imagining the future of the graduate community at here ISU.

Ultimately, we want to ask, how can we use current and pressing challenges as opportunities to rebuild and reinvent our graduate community to better support each other’s research and graduate way of life? We hope you can help cultivate an answer to this question with us! We would like your RSVP (via this survey) by March 29.

While those registered to present or volunteer at the conference receive the most benefits, there are many reasons to attend the conference.
